Gorgeous Engagement

Santa Fe is a magical, stunning place and usually the weather is mild and dry. This gentlemen went to great lengths to arrange a sunset view for his surprise proposal to his girlfriend. But, as we know, the more we plan, the harder nature laughs. After positioning myself in the bushes like a paparrazi to capture the surprise engagement, the clouds opened up and poured down on me. So, I ran like crazy to the clubhouse, smashing a lens filter along the way, dropping my glasses and arriving in the restaurant wet as a fish. But, like nature tends to do, I was rewarded with an amazing sky as the backdrop for the formal engagement pics. Gorgeous couple + love + beautiful sky = beautiful portraits of a special, albeit wet, proposal. Swoon. ;)
